Mark Meadows is the founder and CEO of Terra Nova Development, a Washington-based firm providing leadership coaching, team performance coaching, facilitation, and organization development consulting. He has extensive experience facilitating in-person, virtual, and in hybrid formats with executive and manager-level audiences for Fortune 500 firms, government agencies, and non-profits. Typical session engagements range from 12+ person intact leadership teams to groups of 150+ leaders over multiple days.
The focus of Mark’s facilitation has covered multiple topics designed to enhance leadership capability and team performance. He honed his facilitation approach over the last 15 years through certifications, such as Microsoft’s Human-Centered Facilitation program and Liberating Structures. Content has included materials from the NeuroLeadership Institute (e.g. SCARF model), values work, emotional intelligence, feedback, leading diverse teams, Adaptive Leadership, leading change (Prosci), and Psychological Safety, to name a few.
Before launching Terra Nova, Mark was the Senior Organization Development Director for Experiences and Devices (E+D), and Research and Incubations at Microsoft for 8.5 years.
Prior to Microsoft, he was a leader in Talent Management and Organizational Effectiveness at Slalom Consulting and at Booz Allen Hamilton, where he worked with a variety of clients on organization design, change, and culture.
His passion is helping individuals, teams, and organizations realize their potential through his experience in organization development and coaching.
Mark earned his International Coaching Federation (ICF) certification from SeattleCoach, his MS in Organization Development from American University, and a BA in Psychology from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine.
